The N2-400 system is complete with gas pressuring system with gas booster with receiver, regulator, gauge, filters, booster control switch, reassure digital readout, and pressure transducer. The high pressure components are housed in a compact roll bar frame assembly.

The air driven gas booster receives gas from either a bottled supply or plant centralized supply.  The booster utilizes air pressure from an air compressor and through a high accuracy regulator delivering to the primary side of the booster.  Through mechanical advantage of pressure acting on different areas it  elevates gas to high pressure.

The increased pressure gas is delivered to a receiver and then through a high accuracy nonpulsing regulator to the optional flow controller or directly to the injection system.  Final precise injection pressure control is effected by manually adjusting a high accuracy high-pressure discharge regulator.  The injector is fitted with an interchangeable precisely calibrated diamond orifice.  The injector is mounted through a standard ½" NP thread into the barrel and designed to prevent the melt from entering the injector stem and clogging the nozzle.

PRECISEFLOW Gas Flow Rate Controller (Optional)
High performance gas flowmeter accurately controls and measures flow rates of a high pressure gas from 0 to 5 standard liters per minute (slpm) full scale.  The operator adjusts the flow to the desired flow rate and the digital panel display shows the actual flow through the system.   Preciseflow conditions can be established not possible through simple pressure - nozzle size relationships.  Process upsets such as gas leakage are observed instantaneously allowing the operator to react prior to product changes.

Fine's gas injection foam extrusion line is designed to use the latest technology to achieve the best result. The special design 40:1 L/D screw provides exceptionally stable and homogeneous extrudate with superior cell structure.  The high pressure gas injection system will strictly control the gas flow rate by using the flowmeter, flow controller and control valve.
